Overview
The NBCCD Diploma Exhibition campaign was created for the graduating students’ exhibition at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The project included the design of the exhibition poster, postcards, and social media assets, creating a cohesive visual identity that felt contemporary, immersive, and gallery-driven.
Objective
The goal was to create a visual system that celebrated student growth and creativity while elevating the exhibition beyond a traditional academic showcase. The campaign needed to feel visually striking in public spaces while capturing the excitement, uncertainty, and opportunity that comes with stepping into the creative industry after graduation.
Design Approach
The concept was inspired by transition, growth, and entering a new creative chapter. The staircase and glowing doorway were designed to symbolize the journey students take throughout their education and the opportunities waiting ahead of them. I used a dark editorial-inspired background to create contrast and allow the typography and illustration to feel luminous and impactful. My approach focused on balancing atmosphere with clarity to create a poster that felt both emotionally resonant and visually memorable.
